Regulatory Issues Management - Implement globally harmonized industry strategies by creating industry consensus, developing related positions and statements.
Develop action plans and ensure their implementation; drive project teams to consensus.
Keep track global regulatory developments and identify upcoming issues.
Work with international organizations and represent the industry position - Develop strong working relationships with non-governmental international organizations such as OECD and represent industry at related formal meetings.
Establish close collaboration with CropLife regional associations and company advocacy network.
Develop and maintain technical and regulatory expert network and build up relevant in-house expertise.
Project team management - Manage selected project teams which deal with regulatory issues.
Facilitate the work of the relevant project teams by establishing, maintaining and coordinating an appropriate infrastructure.
Act as secretary: prepare meetings and meeting documents, consolidate comments, write minutes.
Lead work of Project Teams; ensure that their work is prioritized and focused to deliver results; co-ordinate their activities and ensure the exchange of information and cooperation with relevant CropLife staff and other teams.
Communicate/liaise with the network of experts, company and regional association contacts.
Communications - Work together with Communication and Advocacy Director to develop communication and advocacy tools.
Project Management - Support establishment of budgets and operating plans.Coordinate selected projects and manage related budgets.
Candidate has significant industry experience
Understanding of agriculture value chains
Minimum 5 years work experience
Completed university education, preference for agriculture degree
Project management experience
Fluent in English, other languages advantageous
Able to travel up to 20% of her/his time
