Bachelor’s degree required in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field.
Advanced degree (MS/MBA/MHA) or Juris Doctorate with health care focus preferred.
Ten years of successful management experience in the field of healthcare compliance and risk management.
Expert knowledge of legal, risk and corporate compliance in a healthcare environment.
Expert knowledge of the OIG guidelines, compliance program elements, and frameworks.
Highly effective collaboration skills, written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to facilitate conflict resolution in regulatory and requirements regarding patient grievances, testifying at a hearing or other court appearances, and mandated reporting of events.
Ability to develop relationships with the various departments in order to establish a consistent and supportive process throughout the organization.
Attention to detail, meticulous development, and maintenance of regulatory paperwork.
Certified Professional in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) preferred.
