The Oregon Clinic Gastroenterology Divisions are seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Specialist to join the team. The QA Specialist will work from the GI South location in Oregon City, but will be required to attend meetings in SW Portland and NE Portland.
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for assisting the QA Manager in collecting, collating, and analyzing data for the Gastroenterology Endoscopy Centers’ quality management (QM), quality assurance (QA) and quality improvement (QI) programs and projects. This position supports and assists the QA Manager in the presentation and dissemination of QM, QA and QI information. The Quality Assurance Specialist also supports and assists the QA Manager in the credentialing and privileging processes for all Endoscopy Center providers. The QA Specialist may also assist with and/or facilitate performance improvement projects. This position is responsible for promoting a health care environment that is efficient and exceptional in quality. Starting pay range, based on experience: $22.50 - $26.47 per hour

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
3+ years of experience in a health care organization, preferably with Endoscopy and Quality Assurance experience.
Current Oregon State license as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse or current experience as a Medical Assistant, preferred.
Experience in facilitating process improvement activities using established quality practices, such as Lean and root cause analysis, preferred.
Ability to analyze, prepare and present quality related reports and projects.
Knowledge of statistical techniques.
Strong analytical and organizational skills. Must understand the essential activities for the divisions, and measure, report and help remedy any identified problems.
Knowledge of medical practice processes.
