Summary: Manages, develops, coordinates and implements the corporate quality program to effectuate improvements in health care delivery and outcomes of care to achieve industry leading performance, in collaboration with Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Health Services.
Educational Requirement: Bachelor Degree required or may substitute with 4 years of like experience.
Required Experience: 5+ years performing same or similar responsibilities. Relevant experience includes: quality assurance, state/federal auditing and reporting with extensive knowledge of NCQA & HEDIS accreditation, development and implementation of policies/procedures, and survey administration and evaluation. Minimum 5 years direct supervisory experience in a managed care environment also required. Required Licenses and/or Certificates Registered Nurse (RN). Valid driver license. Software and Data Entry Requirement No testing required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES Communication: Highly Complex: ability to communicate highly complex information verbally and in written form that may include strategic policies, projects, and program processes; ability to negotiate and persuade internal managers/directors, external upper level management professionals and Board members; ability to interface with upper management professionals and Board members.
