This is an exciting opportunity to join a global not-for-profit initiative. The World Mosquito Program (WMP) is working to protect communities from mosquito-borne diseases such as Zika, dengue and chikungunya, using the safe and natural Wolbachia method developed by researchers at Monash University.
The WMP has two regional hubs – the Asia hub in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and the Oceania hub, based at the Institute of Vector-Borne Diseases (IVBD) in Melbourne, Australia. The WMP is operating in 12 countries around the world, with the Senior Regulatory Affairs Officer role based in the Oceania hub.
As the Senior Regulatory Affairs Officer, you will provide specialist support across the WMP, including the business development, project implementation and impact assessment teams. Supporting the global activities and future growth of the WMP, you will oversee the portfolio of data and documentation relating to the safety and efficacy of this novel method for the control of mosquito-borne diseases. You will also act as the key liaison point between the WMP and internal and external client groups and partners.
To be successful in this position, you will have a degree qualification in life sciences, pharmacy, health, environmental science or other relevant field, with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience in a regulatory environment such as healthcare, public health or environmental health.
