This Transplant Quality Manager (TQM) provides leadership, manages quality assurance activities and monitors processes and regulatory compliance to meet Transplant Conditions of Participation (COP), United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) and ESRD network at a system level including the oversight of the transmission of all individual transplant patient data. Plans and executes strategies to remedy current and anticipated quality issues. Regularly reports to top management regarding compliance performance and remedial needs and is able to make independent decisions requiring judgment by using general guidelines provided by leadership.
EQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Los Angeles City Fire/Safety Card within 30 days of hire.
Licensed RN by California State Board of Nursing or other Professional Clinical License in CA.
Bachelor degree preferred.
Two or more years of experience in organ transplant services with demonstrated leadership, teaching and QAPI facilitation skills preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of regulatory and accreditation agency standards preferred (UNOS, CMS, Network 18, Crown Web).
