The Department of Clinical Research and Leadership of the George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences welcomes applications for a part time (0.5-0.75 FTE) faculty and Program Director position in Regulatory Affairs (RAFF). Appointment will be made at a rank (assistant/associate/full professor) and salary commensurate with experience. Total compensation includes a generous benefits package.
Primary responsibilities include leading the MSHS RAFF program, teaching across the RAFF curriculum, advising students, and engaging in scholarly activities.
Provide academic oversight to the MSHS curriculum for regulatory affairs in order to develop a diverse global regulatory science workforce.
Strategic development and expansion of current educational offerings or implementation of new programs and services to support regulatory science education.
Identify new and existing best practice initiatives as well as integrated mentoring and internship opportunities.
Teach courses in regulatory affairs and health sciences that reflect personal expertise
Engage in scholarship reflective of the SMHS requirements
Engage in departmental, school, university and professional service.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must hold a terminal degree in health sciences or a related field and have at least five years of regulatory affairs or regulatory science experience.
