The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD) Research Program at the Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) nationally recognized pediatric facility in Denver, Colorado with Network of Care sites across Colorado with the newest hospital recently opened in Colorado Springs. The CCBD Research Program conducts Federally, Industry, foundation and consortia studies in all pediatric cancers and blood disorders and serves a 7-state region as a tertiary/quaternary care facility. We have five programs: Experimental Therapies (ETP), Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cell Therapy (BMT-CT), Children’s Oncology Group COG), Neuro-oncology (NO), and Hematology (Heme). The CCBD Research Program is a fast-paced environment with high expectations of all research staff. Our recently restructured CCBD Research Program is recruiting for a Research Program Manager – Regulatory.
The Research Program Manager (RPM) for Research Compliance will oversee 8-10 Regulatory Specialists each of whom is assigned to one of our five programs. The RPM will manage and develop the regulatory staff, assure regulatory compliance across our programs, and standardize processes, expectations and training. This is an exciting opportunity to build an innovative research regulatory group in a rapidly expanding pediatric cancer and blood disorders research program. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to manage, develop and engage research regulatory staff while establishing and maintaining high standards and best practices in pediatric research. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with a Masters preferred
A minimum of three years of increasing responsibility in a clinical research environment
A minimum of three years of management experience
Demonstrated expert level regulatory experience
Formal training/certifications in leadership, change management, and project management preferred
Experience in an academic research environment is preferred
Familiarity with OnCore preferred
