In support of this, Altria is looking for a talented Sr. Specialist to join our Regulatory Intelligence team within our Regulatory Affairs division. In your role as a Sr. Specialist Regulatory Intelligence you will manage information gathering tools and resources in support of regulatory strategies. You also will coordinate and track regulatory intelligence initiatives, including external vendor management.
How you will make an impact:* Manage technical systems and external resources used to obtain, derive and organize information in support of regulatory intelligence activities.
Monitor designated external sources to rapidly identify, synthesize and develop written summaries of new regulatory developments.
Independently conduct research and develop written materials to inform regulatory strategies and related communications.
Oversee administration of external vendors including project management, procurement activities, and invoice tracking/reconciliation.
Lead identification and implementation of improvements to information management tools to more effectively identify trends and emerging regulatory issues. What you need to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a Science, Operations, or Business Discipline. Advanced degree is preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in FDA-regulated fields and working knowledge of FDA CTP Regulations.
Experience working with Relational Databases or eDiscovery Software
Strong project and relationship management skills with proven ability to meet goals and timelines
Knowledge of regulatory, legal and compliance processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-directed and comfortable working within areas of ambiguity.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to cross-functional teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Project Professional, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
