About This Opportunity:
The Life-Assist Regulatory Compliance Specialist manages all aspects of federal and state regulation compliance including state licensing. The ideal candidate can demonstrate success in working with regulatory authorities such as FDA, DEA, and State Board of Pharmacies. Add in a good amount of enthusiasm, positivity, and flexibility, and that describes a candidate we would like to meet.
We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, knows which questions to ask, who to contact and exercises good judgment as a true professional. If you have experience in the regulatory field or a regulated industry; the ability to work effectively with all levels of the company as well as outside agencies, let’s talk.
What You Get to Do:
Obtain renewed documentation for expiring medical licenses, to include medical director licenses, DEA licenses and Prescription Authorization Forms
Manage the preparation and submission of facility pharmacy license applications and renewals
Manage Pharmacy Board Designated Representative License applications and renewals
Conduct monthly review of all facility and customer licenses to ensure Company is in full compliance with State and Federal regulations
Coordinate with the department managers an annual review to update the Company’s Policies and Procedures relating to medical device and/or pharmaceutical regulations
Maintain verification of training of employees on Company’s Policies and Procedures relating to medical device and/or pharmaceutical regulations
Respond to inquiries from federal and state authorities regarding customer activity up to and including subpoenas when applicable.
Represent the company in audits and inspections.
Interpret and apply FDA and other state and federal regulations to business practices and provides regulatory input, advice and guidance to the organization.
Collaborate with department managers to collect corporate and individual information of a confidential and sensitive nature as required for proper licensure.
Identify legal and regulatory changes that impact the business and recommends protocol enhancements to ensure company compliance.
Who Are You?
Experience in the medical or healthcare field a plus.
Industry knowledge of EMS/Fire/Pre-Hospital a plus.
Excellent customer service skills.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Software Suite.
