The Sight Society of NENY, Inc. (Lions Eye Bank at Albany/Rochester) is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team in the field of ocular transplant/donor services.
The Quality Assurance Specialist's will be in charge of all quality assurance activities. Some of the responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance policies; conducting internal and external audits; participating in inspections by regulatory agencies; identifying issues and presenting solutions.
Knowledge of regulations and medical standards (FDA/DOH/EBAA) regarding organ/tissue/eye donation is preferred. CEBT certification preferred.
