You Will Be Responsible For:

• Maintains credibility, follows through on promises, cares about people as individuals and demonstrates empathy and concern while ensuring that the organizational goals are met

• Provides strategic direction to align performance improvement activities with CREATION Health principles and mission
• Collaborates with executives, directors, Board members, community partners, physician leaders and other key stakeholders to ensure continued improvement in regional clinical priorities
• Serves as Patient Safety Officer for the region
• Leads campus and regional directors and senior managers to develop high-performing teams across multiple sites
• Active in the governance of the organization by advising on patient safety issues, participating in strategic planning and leading strategic clinical projects
• Develops and enhances the regional structure to support planning, implementation, data analysis, change management and education related to evidence-based performance improvement activities
• Develops strategic plans for data collection, analysis, benchmarking and related utilization of information systems to achieve key clinical initiatives
• Institutes a highly data-driven approach to predict and manage clinical performance
• Develops plans of action that establish objectives, define strategy and outline in detail operational actions needed to meet current and future regional clinical objectives in the areas of risk management, clinical care, infection prevention, quality assurance, performance improvement, regulatory compliance and patient safety
• Develops, deploys and leads strategies to improve the outcomes as measured by CMS Value Based Purchasing Plan, CMS Star Ratings, Leapfrog Safety Grade and other publicly reported data
• Oversees readiness activities for TJC, CMS and AHCA surveys
• Considers the financial implications, safety implications, and clinical outcomes when making recommendations, evaluating technology and products and developing policies and procedures
• Incorporates fiscal assessments into program evaluations and/or reports
• Responsible and accountable for the planning and evaluation of activities to include policy development, budgeting process and maintaining fiscal accountability in areas of responsibility

What You Will Need:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Bachelorâ™s degree in healthcare related field
• Minimum ten yearsâ™ healthcare management experience and
• Minimum five yearsâ™ experience in Quality, Compliance, Risk or Patient Safety
• Experience leading in a matrix environment with value on the importance of teamwork
• Current Florida Registered Nurse License

Job Summary:

The Regional Executive Director of Clinical Operations provides strategic leadership, direction and develops patient safety initiatives for the Central Florida Division â“ North Region in collaboration with the clinical executive teams. Leads execution of key strategies to achieve regional clinical performance goals. The scope of work includes Risk Management, Quality, Infection Prevention, Regulatory, Physician Peer Review, Patient Safety Organization, Data Analytics, Performance Improvement and Accreditation. Oversees system policies, procedures, strategies and objectives specific to the region priorities.  Promotes and enhances relationships which are built on a high degree of trust, effective communication, teamwork and mutual respect. Serves as the advisor and primary point of contact to regional leadership, facility executive teams/medical staff, and committees to accomplish clinical standardization, patient safety, risk management and evidence-based practice initiatives.
