Description:
The Director of Research Operations and Quality Assurance is responsible and accountable for the oversight research operations and development of a program of quality assurance and education for clinical and translational research operations throughout Baptist Health South Florida. The director manages and directs clinical operations and ensures effective oversight and coordination of inpatient and outpatient clinical and translational research services. Additionally, the director will oversee quality improvement, quality assurance, and educational activities for the BHSF research programs.
Qualifications:
Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in biomedical or life sciences, nursing, or other related field, or BSN/RN. CITI certification required. Experience in oversight management of clinical research is required. Ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity. Facilitation experience with medical teams, including physician participants. High degree of computer literacy. Excellent analytical skills, judgment and problem solving skills. Highly developed communication skills and interpersonal ability. Supervisory experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams and projects required. Minimum Required Experience: 10 years
