As Manager of Clinical Quality Improvement, you will report directly to the Vice President, Quality, and enjoy significant autonomy, as you develop and lead complex interdepartmental and multi-entity performance improvement projects that address gaps in performance and/or achieve better outcomes. This involves directing the assessment of all relevant internal and external comparative data for quality, safety, and efficiency relative to patient care and patient experience outcomes.

To qualify, you must have a masters degree or be a masters candidate in a healthcare-related field with an advanced knowledge of quality improvement and project management methods and their application at the functional level in a hospital setting. A knowledge of national standards and outcomes for quality, safety and healthcare, such as CMS Core Measures & Value Based Purchasing, AHRQ PSI’s, Leapfrog, US News and World Report rankings - is also required. Completion of an accredited Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Doctor, Doctor of Osteopathy or Physician’s Assistant program with the appropriate state of Maryland licensure is preferred.
